Facial Implants (Facial Enhancing)
Facial implants such as silicone which are compatible with the human tissue will be placed under the skin to give enough volume and project that perfect symmetrical facial profile. It is designed to enhance or expand the symmetrical shape of the face.
Facial Implants are inserted in three different regions, such as;
- Cheek implants – Incision are made and the implants are surgically inserted to augment or increase the volume in the flattened or depressed cheekbone region.
- Chin implants / Genioplasty – A procedure where a small incision is made and an implant is placed or the chin is moved forward or sideway as required, so that the appropriate chin size is achieved in coordination with the region between Mid-face and forehead.
- Jaw Implants – Jaw line plays a vital role in bringing out a perfect symmetrical profile. At times a week jaw or an underdeveloped jaw bone can bring about an odd shape to the facial profile. Inserting an implant along the jaw line will add volume to lower third of the face.
